Being a Wedding Singer in Burnley its only right that i perform at yet another fantastic Wedding Fayre at the picturesque Towneley Hall in Burnley in conjunction with Little White Books, not only my home town, but I’ve been visiting Towneley Hall since I was child, I get a thrill performing there not only that but I’m the recommended wedding singer in Burnley for the hall, so that in itself is a privilege.
Yesterday’s fayre was very well attended and the park was full of people with children and dog walkers as Mr Blue Sky popped out to say hello.
The Tall Toastmaster was in attendance along with DJ extraordinaire Andy B, and last but most certainly not least Amelia’s Bridal wear provided some stunning wedding dresses, I always love working with Amelia’s they are a fantastic family business with an attention to detail, they used professional models yesterday, but when they do the catwalk themselves as a family it’s a must see and is the stuff of legends!
There were two catwalk shows and I had the opportunity to sing a couple of songs before both, I decided on Michael Buble ” Just haven’t met you yet” and Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition”, later on I even threw in a very rocky version of “Suspicious minds”, not exactly suitable for a wedding fayre but judging by the reaction it got it went down a storm ;-).
Lots of enquiries came my way as did plenty for all the other exhibitors, so a good day all round at Towneley Hall I’d say.
