    Sir Alex Ferguson
    Thanks for the memories

I was gutted to find out this morning that Sir Alex Ferguson has decided to call it a day and step down from the managers job at Manchester United.
Whilst not totally unexpected it still hasn’t quite sunk in, I’m sure it wasn’t an easy decision for Sir Alex to make, but one that had to be made at some point nonetheless.
Without a shadow of a doubt Sir Alex has been the Greatest manager the club has ever seen and is arguably the Greatest Football Manager there has ever been in the English game.

From Beckham to Cantona, Robson to Bruce, Schmeichel to Ronaldo, Giggs to Scholes, the list goes on, some of the best players to have graced the English game played under Sir Alex at Manchester United over the years and under his tutelage not only won every trophy possible but helped build Manchester United into one of the world’s biggest brand names.

I’m sure Manchester United will continue to win trophies, but things will never be quite the same without him, over the next few days I’m sure there will be an outpouring of support for him and well wishes, myself personally would just like to wish Sir Alex all the very best for the future and to thank you for all the wonderful memories you have given Manchester United fans over the years.

I had the pleasure of singing and Dj’ing for Mr & Mrs Donaldson on their special day over at the fantastic Mitton Hall in Whalley.I met Gemma & Fraser for coffee weeks before the day to go through one or two details and a finalisation of the evening.

The ideas and song choices that I got from them both were great and really lent themselves to creating a fantastic evening.

When the big day arrived there was no time to spare as it was a very late wedding so I had to get set up and get cracking in super quick time, I like it when its like that, I work well under pressure.
The entrance songs for the evening worked a treat and were specifically requested by Fraser and Gemma, the boys came in to “A town called malice” by The Jam and the girls to “Here come the girls” by the Sugababes, Fraser and Gemma chose “Dizzy” by Vic Reeves and the Wonderstuff.
We then went into the first dance and from that moment on it was pure party throughout the evening, right up until the last dance.
I’d like to wish Gemma & Fraser all the very best for the future and thank them for allowing me to be a part of their special day…
