Choose from two Fantastic Wedding Bands

I am constantly asked if I can recommend any wedding bands or if I can provide one to compliment my singing and add an extra dimension of live music to a wedding. Being in the industry, I have extensive experience of listening to some great (and some not so great) live wedding bands and in order to provide couples with a more comprehensive, one stop wedding entertainment service I have carefully selected some wedding bands who I can highly recommend.

One thing I’m very big on is for things to be lively and whilst I do a great job on my own at creating that buzz, I’m also a firm believer that there is nothing quite like having a great LIVE wedding band!

The one big difference with me is that many singers will tell you they will provide you with a wedding band if you require one, well I can give you a choice of two! I will not only provide you with a live wedding band but I will personally guarantee that they will be fantastic, I work on the basis that I don’t recommend anyone I wouldn’t have at my own wedding!

The Core: The Core are a sophisticated four piece line up from Lancashire which offer an eclectic mix of tunes and quirky mash ups; think Luther Vandross meets 90’s RnB with a smattering of Rock n Roll and you’ll have some idea of what I am talking of. With two very distinct lead singers each with their own vocal range and style it allows the band to morph into a whole range of musical genres depending upon who’s in the crowd and what musical the situation requires. One minute the band can be on a soulful funk groove the next a rip roaring tour de force of anthemic rock n roll, all the blink of an eye. The bands repertoire is constantly evolving and as such the guys are happy to learn your special song if it’s not already part of their extensive repertoire. All four members of the band are full time musicians who do this for a living and take great pride in what they do. Drawn from some of the best music college’s in the North West, the guys aren’t a regular “function” band and seeing them live is something more akin to what you might expect at a stadium gig. These guys are not to be missed!

Groove Party: Groove Party are a six-piece band laying down the grooviest of covers that have made you dance over the years. We are comprised of highly experienced musicians who have spent many years in the music industry. Our aim is to please the crowd with roof-raising, household hits and we deliver every time so come get your groove on with Groove Party.

Groove Party Reviews

Just wanted to say a big huge thank you to you and the rest of the band for playing at our wedding last Saturday we had an absolute ball! I loved your sets and was made up that everyone was up dancing all night!

Kate & Chris, Wedding at Tower Hill Barns, Wales

Reah and I cannot thank you guys enough for the amazing job you did at our wedding. You absolutely rocked and I would recommend you to anyone looking for a band at their special event. Professional, loads of fun with a great repertoire that was tailored perfectly for us and even learnt one of my favorite songs in such a short amount of time. We loved the hidden gems and floor filling medleys and will definitely make sure we come and see you play soon.

All the best

Nibby and Reah, Wedding at Mitton Hall, Whalley

Just want to say a huge thankyou to you for playing our wedding reception on Saturday night.

You were fantastic. Better than I ever dared to hope for.

I thought everyone would spend the time telling me and the wife how great we are but they just spent the whole time telling us how great you are!
And thanks for entering in to the spirit with the fancy dress too. You’ve obtained many free promoters & we’ll be looking for any opportunities where we can see you perform again.
Top stuff.

Charlie Sadler, Wedding at Higher Trapp Hotel, Burnley

I want to spread the word on how good this band is. On the 6th March 2015 at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel, the lads gave a fantastic performance at our civil service, north west regional HASSRA sports and social awards. This was our 30th awards evening and when considering the entertainment, we wanted something special and Groove Party delivered and more. Their play list is different to most and as a result sets this band apart. The music appealed to all ages at the function and I’d book this talented, energetic bunch again without hesitation. Certainly the best band to grace our awards evening. Thanks for a great night lads.

Steve Neary, North West Regional HASSRA Sports and Social Awards, Dunkenalgh Hotel & Spa
