A Day to Remember

Naomi & Michael’s wedding at Hobbit Hill in the Ribble Valley was one of the most memorable I’ve ever hosted. Not just because the venue is stunning (those views across the valley never get old), but because the couple decided to throw in a surprise twist, a full-on cowboy theme. From the moment I arrived and spotted guests in cowboy hats and boots, I knew this was going to be a wedding with a difference. And it did not disappoint.

As their wedding host and singer, my role was to keep the day running smoothly while bringing plenty of energy, music, and fun. With a cowboy twist, everything felt even more relaxed, joyful, and unique and Hobbit Hill proved to be the perfect backdrop for such a celebration.

The Ceremony

The rustic charm of Hobbit Hill really suits a country vibe, and Naomi & Michael’s ceremony felt warm and personal. With cowboy details sneaking in through the styling, it had the perfect mix of heartfelt moments and lighthearted touches. My job was to handle the music, coordinate with the registrars, and make sure everything flowed seamlessly,  giving the couple and their guests an stress-free start to the day.

Drinks Reception Vibes

While the happy couple were whisked away for photos, I kept the drinks reception buzzing with live music. Nothing too in-your-face, just the right mix of acoustic favourites to match the cowboy atmosphere. Guests were relaxed, laughing, and soaking up the Ribble Valley views the kind of atmosphere Hobbit Hill is known for.

Fun with the Speeches

When it came to the speeches, I stepped in as host to keep everything moving smoothly. A cowboy wedding doesn’t mean speeches drag on for hours, it was fun, upbeat, and full of laughter. Introducing each speaker and giving them a proper moment made sure the room stayed engaged from start to finish.

The Wedding Breakfast & Musical Entrances

Now this is where the energy really lifted. With upbeat musical introductions for the wedding party, the cowboy theme came alive, boots tapping, hats waving, and big smiles all around. It’s moments like these where hosting meets entertainment, and it really sets the tone for the rest of the day.
